Maria Luisa Park

The park of almost 100 acres is named after the infanta Maria Luisa de de Orleons, who donated in her testament the grounds of the San Telmo palace to the citiziens. In occasion of the World´s Fair of the Ibero-American Exhibition from 1929, the southern gardens were embellished and redeveloped by Jean Claude Le Forestier with grand boulevards, tiled fountains, benches and exedras.

This Romantic park really invites to relax in the shade of the tropical trees and with the always refreshing element of the runnig water.
